    小气鬼

         从前有座城。城东住着个小气鬼。他非常得小气，为了省下买衣服的钱，即使到了冬天，也只穿一件很薄的外衣，尽管他已经冻得发抖。他一个人在家时从来都不点灯，只有当有客人来访，他才勉强开一下灯，而那灯光在客人而言比星光还弱。他就这样过了一个冬天又一个黑夜。后来有一天，他听说城西搬来一个比他还要小气的小气鬼，很是怀疑。因为在他看来，他已经小气到极点了，不可能再有人比他还小气。于是他决定去亲自拜访这个人，把他比下去。
